On Risks of the Data Protection Bill
An afternoon on WhatsApp and vigilante violence, then this panel with Nayantara Ranganathan and Arvind Narrain, weeks after the bill reached Parliament. He read it as a weaponisation of the privacy judgement that takes away informational self-determination, and argued it had to be read alongside the account aggregator framework; he circulated a marked-up copy of the bill that morning.

Neo-Brahmi Generation Panel working meeting
Drafting label generation rules for the nine Neo-Brahmi scripts, in the week ICANN launched the Sinhala Generation Panel in Colombo. The panel is the largest of its kind, with members across Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Singapore and Sri Lanka; the day is not recorded because the announcement places the meeting only within that week.
Second appearance at the internet's naming and numbers body, after attending ICANN57 in Hyderabad as a fellow.
